The PPL Center is Allentown's major sports and multi-purpose arena. Opened in 2014, the Center is home to the minor league hockey team, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and Lehigh Valley Steelhawks of the National Arena League of indoor football. The arena's 8,500 person seating capacity, state-of-the-art technology and VIP seating for season ticket holders make it easy to understand why the PPL Center is said to be one of the most expensive and well-built minor league hockey arenas in the country. In addition to sports, the center also hosts trade shows, family events and concerts throughout the year. Big name performers like The Eagles, Elton John and Twenty One Pilots have played here to sold out audiences. Although pre-paid parking is available through most sales channels, the parking garage tends to fill up so plan accordingly. Get to the PPL Center easily from our hotel, the arena is a 20-minute drive away.

• Where Can I Park When Visiting The PPL Center?
  Pre-paid parking in the Arena Garage can be purchased through most sales channels. Once the Arena Garage (enter on the corner of 7th and Linden) fills up, other parking garages are available in the area. The Allentown Parking Authority can provide more information on additional parking options, costs and how to purchase.
• Where Can You Eat Near PPL Center?
  Cacique Restaurant offers affordable Latin just steps from the PPL Center. For Italian try Bellissimo Ristorante. Big Woody's Sports Bar & Restaurant and Bell Hall serve traditional American fare including gourmet burgers and brews. You can also eat at the PPL Center. A suite of concessions, Chickie's & Pete's and Tim Hortons are located inside.
